Projects

Welcome! In this portfolio, you will explore a collection of my innovative Instructional Design projects, showcasing the use of cutting-edge tools and AI technology. Dive in and discover the future of education!

e-Learning in Articulate 360/Rise

Problem:

Cultivating and enhancing your CQ is necessary for individuals and organizations aiming to thrive in today's diverse world. This will improve workplace dynamics and performance by fostering effective communication and team collaboration, promoting inclusivity, boosting global competence, fostering personal growth, and enhancing leadership skills.

Solution:

I designed and created an on-demand e-learning course in Rise. By keeping the modules brief, interactive, and on-point, employees can create personalized action plans aimed at fostering behavioral changes in the workplace. These changes have been observed in increased inclusivity, enhanced team collaboration, and improved communication across cultures. These improvements have directly influenced key performance indicators such as team productivity, employee engagement, and retention rates within culturally diverse teams.

e-Learning in Articulate 360/Rise and Camtasia Video

Problem:

As the healthcare industry moves towards more personalized and precise treatments, there is an increasing demand for healthcare professionals who understand the principles and applications of personalized medicine and pharmacogenetics. This course aims to bridge the knowledge gap and equip medical practitioners, genetic counselors, pharmacists, and healthcare researchers with the skills to utilize cutting-edge tools such as the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Bioserver for personalized patient care.

Solution:

I designed and created an on-demand e-learning course in Rise and a video using Camtasia. This solution course ensures that healthcare professionals are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of personalized medicine, ultimately leading to better patient care, innovative research, and efficient healthcare delivery.

e-Learning in Storyline

Problem:

Many workplaces and community settings face a critical gap in emergency preparedness, as individuals often lack structured training to effectively respond to medical emergencies. This deficiency can lead to delayed responses and increased risks to employee and community safety. Comprehensive training in emergency assessment and prioritization methods, such as the ABCDE approach, is essential to mitigate these risks and ensure swift and competent responses in urgent situations. Therefore, there is a pressing need for accessible, interactive e-learning solutions, like the Storyline course developed, to empower individuals with the skills needed to handle emergencies confidently and effectively.

Solution:

I designed and created a brief, interactive, on-demand e-learning course in Storyline. This training enhances workplace safety protocols, enabling quicker responses to medical emergencies and reducing risks to employee health, but also equips individuals to confidently handle emergencies in public spaces, homes, and community events. By preparing participants to act decisively in emergencies, this comprehensive training aims to save lives and minimize the impact of critical incidents across diverse settings.

e-learning in Adobe Captivate

Problem:

In many workplaces, miscommunication, unclear messaging, and ineffective feedback lead to misunderstandings, decreased productivity, and strained relationships. These communication barriers often result in errors, project delays, and low employee morale. To address these issues, there is a critical need for comprehensive training that enhances employees' communication skills, focusing on active listening, clear messaging, and constructive feedback.

Solution:

I designed and created a brief, interactive, on-demand e-learning course in Adobe Captivate.

This training aims to bridge communication gaps, foster a collaborative work environment, and improve organizational efficiency and harmony.

Instructional video in Vyond

Problem:

Many workplaces face difficulties in creating effective training programs for adult learners.

By understanding what motivates adult learning, we can address this issue by examining how adults learn best and what keeps them engaged. Knowing Adult Learning Principles is essential for developing educational experiences that align with adult learners' needs and preferences, leading to improved engagement and better learning outcomes.

Solution:

To address this issue, I have created a short instructional video in Vyond that briefly explains Malcolm Knowles' Adult Learning Principles Theory. This video highlights how understanding these principles can help develop educational experiences that align with adult learners' needs and preferences, leading to improved engagement and better learning outcomes.

Needs Analysis and Storyboard Sample

Problem:

In this section, you will find a comprehensive example of a Needs Analysis and Storyboard created using the ADDIE model. This sample showcases the initial assessment process to identify learner requirements and objectives, followed by the detailed planning and structuring of the course content.

Solution:

As an instructional designer, my role involves analyzing the needs, designing the curriculum, developing the content, implementing the learning solutions, and evaluating the outcomes. The storyboard provides a visual and textual representation of the instructional design, outlining key elements such as learning outcomes, instructional strategies, multimedia integration, and assessment methods. This demonstrates my ability to systematically analyze educational needs and effectively translate them into engaging and effective e-learning experiences.
